Solid
state electronics provide superb reliability in these compact units, tested to
10000 firings. In combined or electric only models there is a built in
resistance checker for continuity of the firing circuit which provides a
reading with 4 bands of resistance: 0 - 25 Ohms, 26 - 50 Ohms and 51 - 200
Ohms, and above 201 Ohms.
